Rob began his massage career in 2007 attending the Medical Arts School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Rob chose to attend this particular school because they offered one of the best trigger point educations offered by any massage school in North Carolina. This school also offered a very strong program in medical massage, orthopedic assessment and sports massage. Rob graduated with honors and went on to practice at an established massage clinic working long hours to gain as much experience as possible. In 2013, Rob attended the graduate program at the Body Therapy Institute. Rob received his certification in Advanced Myofascial Release for Structural Balance. Later that same year, Rob completed the Myoskeletal Therapy program from the Freedom from Pain Institute. Rob received his certification as a Mysoskeletal Therapist and a Posture and Pain Specialist. Rob is constantly amazed at how well his clients progress and decrease their pain with his well-planned structural session through Bodywork.

How Posture Is Improved Through Bodywork?Benefits ofStructural Bodywork
Rob uses a combination of myofascial and myoskeletal techniques to create length and to differentiate tight facilitated tissue. Then he uses myoskeletal and trigger point therapy on the eccentrically loaded inhibited tissue to activate the muscle spindles and create tone and facilitation where it doesn’t exist. Finally, he uses myoskeletal techniques on affected joint capsules to restore range of motion and bring posture to balance.
What does all of that mean?
Just one session with Rob can dramatically improve the way you feel. Take a moment to pinpoint areas in your body that are causing you pain. There may even be areas of muscle tension that you’ve endured for so long that you may not even realize some problems exist. He will identify those problem areas and bring your posture back to neutral.
